Lunaria's first annual inviational show,

Moon and Stars,

 brought 19 guest artists to the gallery in
March 2008. The show title is a metaphor where the
moon represents our members and the stars are our
guests. Each member was encouraged to invite a guest
artist who has not shown at Lunaria.

Guest artists were: 

Alasdair Stewart, Amy Wagner, Barbara
Beausoleil, Christopher Flanagan, Cynthia Herron,
Delana Bettoli, Ellen Shefi, Eric Griswold, George
Hauswirth, Jane Buccola, Jered Villwock, Kathy
McConnell, Lee Christiansen, Linda Owen, Margaret
Mallatt, Mary Goodson, Peter Rocci, Rebekah Rigsby,
and Shannon Rice, Mary Wells
 . 

The show title is not a theme for the artwork since
many guests work in media that may not lend itself to
a specific theme. One could see oil, watercolor and
acrylic paintings; handwoven textiles; sculpture; and
ceramics.
